The Republican National Party (RNC) served the Clark County Elections Department with a public records request for the names and party affiliations of the poll workers they hired. The Democrat-dominated Clark County Elections Department refused to comply. Nevada law requires people from each party to be hired as election poll workers.

Clark County Elections Department Chief Joe Gloria refused to comply with the public records request, stating

“Clark County takes seriously the privacy of our poll workers to protect these citizens from harassment, threats, and other forms of intimidation. The integrity of our election process is critical and so is ensuring that those who are working to uphold the rights of all citizens to exercise their right to vote are not threatened by others who wish to unravel our election process. We are in receipt of the RNC’s lawsuit and will respond through our legal process. “

So the RNC filed a lawsuit this week to compel the Clark County Elections Department to comply with the law. RNC lawyer Jordan T. Smith argued

The poll workers are paid with taxpayer dollars, so not confidential and open to public inspection.

Despite the statutory requirements, Gloria declined to provide this information, expressing privacy concerns about releasing anything that would allow the RNC or the public to verify that Clark County’s poll workers will be representative of the political parties. “

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel issued the following statement.

“The County has refused our good-faith compromises and is hiding records that the public is legally allowed to see. Sunlight is the best disinfectant: we are suing Clark County to secure the election transparency that Nevadans deserve ahead of midterms.”

360 News, with the help of local Republican operatives, has uncovered the names of some of the folks the Clark County Elections Department hired in recent weeks, to count the election ballots. They then dug up their Facebook pages, exposing these poll workers as Hyper Partisan Democrats, BLM supporters, and even Bernie Sanders Socialists.

Here are just a few of the screen shots from just a couple of Clark County vote counters.
