OREGON FEDERAL JUDGE DISMISSING SERIOUS CHARGE AGAINST BUNDY AND ASSOCIATES

US District Judge Anna J. Brown dismissed count three of the indictment of Ammon Bundy and his co indicted associates today in Federal Court in Oregon. The charge dismissed was the most serious of the charges,  18 U.S.C. § 924 (c) (1)(A) the carrying and use of firearms in relation to a “crime of violence.”

The court found that the elements of the crime as prescribed by law were not met.
