CLARK COUNTY TEACHERS ACCUSE CCSD OF GRADING FRAUD

Aug 4, 2023

This week, CCSD (Clark County School District) once again changed their grading system in an effort to inflate test scores and gradation numbers. That’s the allegation made by the CCSD Teacher’s Union, which spoke out this week about the failed school district’s new plan to change the grading system again.

CCSD said

“The changes and grading system ensure an accurate reflection of the student’s knowledge and skills by minimizing the impact of non-academic factors.”

Bluh, bluh, bluh. When the Clark County Teachers Union and I agree on something, you know it’s true.

Dr. Brenda Pearson of the CCEA said in a statement:

This is just another attempt to change a failed policy. We don’t have any details on how this is really going to change the process. The biggest issue, the union said, is the inflation of grades with this grading scale, which they said raises the graduation rates and proficiency scores. What we need to know is what students know and what they don’t know so they can enter their future prepared.

With the start of the new school year just days away, CCSD, the worst school district in the nation, this new grading fraud is the brain child of the disastrous Superintendent Jara, supported by failed CCSD School Board Trustee Katie WOKE Williams. Williams voted to retain Jara after campaigning to get rid of him. Then this year she voted to give Superintendent Jara a $75,000 raise, moving his salary up from $320,000 to $395,000 and extending his contract for 3.5 more years. Katie WOKE Williams voted in support of Jara’s job evaluation as “highly effective.”

KATIE WOKE Williams and the School Board’s Accomplishments

  • Reducing the number of minority kids disciplined.
  • Clark County School District has “gender support plans” for students who identify as transgender.
  • CRT books
  • Gender-bending bathrooms?
  • Jara’s failed restorative justice policies that almost got a teacher murdered this year.
  • The surge in on-campus violence, including 177 sexual assaults this school year alone and some 5K reported assaults on campus
  • 50th in the nation as of now.
  • Hiring dozens of child predictors to teach our kids who’ve been charged, arrested, and convicted just in the last year
  • Defunding school police by $30 million
  • Failing to recruit teachers

BTW, today, Gov. Lomabrdo is hosting a School Choice rally at 11:15 a.m. at:
