In an election report issued today by Nevada political operative Jeremy Hughes, about 13,000 Republicans have voted so far this month that did not vote in the 2020 primary. Hughes went on to report:

“Right now, roughly 45,000 Republicans have voted (we are missing several rural counties, so this number is more likely 50,000).

In Clark County, 1,384 Nonpartisans have switched parties in the last two weeks, mostly to Republican. Ultimately this was probably misregistered voters from the DMV.

When looking at expected turnout I keep coming up with numbers close to 180,000 or 33% of registered Republicans.

I had thought turnout could hit 200,000 and perhaps it still will, but Clark County ultimately mailed their ballots out later than other counties so we’re just starting to see those returns come in.”

Hughes also reported that Biden hit an all time low in the polls:

“Biden had his worst month yet on our monthly tracker of approval rating. Biden’s approval rating averaged 40.9%, which is the first time he’s dipped below 41% in the monthly average.

If you’re a Democrat you have to assume that Biden’s approval rating will be between 40-42% on election day because he has shown no sign of improving, the economy has shown no signs of turning around, and history would tell us that his numbers will not improve.”
