WOKE v. WOKE IN NEVADA LITHIUM MINE LAWSUIT

Woke companies claim they care about and are committed to “diversity, inclusion, and equity.” They claim they care about the environment and about minority rights. They produce TV ads showcasing their liberal dribble. But when it comes right down to it they could care less when billions of dollars are at stake.

I.E. Nevada Native American Indians are suing General Motors to stop a lithium mine from going forward and potentially destroying a burial ground. General Motors Co. has committed to investing $650 million in Lithium Americas Corp. in a deal that will give GM exclusive access to the first phase of a mine planned near the Nevada-Oregon border, with the largest known source of lithium in the U.S.

The project is part of an ancient volcano about 200 miles northeast of Reno. According to Lithium Americas, the mine will produce enough lithium to power up to 1 million electric vehicles annually. It’s the third largest known lithium deposit in the world.

But the Reno-Sparks Tribal Council filed a lawsuit against the federal government and GM for “illegally permitting the Thacker Pass lithium mine” in an attempt to protect an area they consider sacred.

Now Harry Reid’s appointed Federal Judge Miranda Du will decide the fate of the mine. Dems desperately want electric cars to replace gas vehicles, pitting them against liberal environmentalists and Native Americans. Woke v. Woke. I predict the court will run over the Native Americans, maybe throw them some cash, and in the end give the big corporation backed by Chinese interests their mine. This proves the entire “woke” agenda is garbage. BIG Money still talks in the Woke America.
