North Las Vegas Mayor, John Lee, said, “These drug companies, in their greedy pursuit of bigger profits, knowingly and deceptively created a public health epidemic that has had evil impacts on our community and residents, and for their selfish actions, we will hold them accountable. The financial repercussions of this crisis are extreme, but the human impacts are far greater, and it’s long overdue that these corporations accept responsibility for that.”
.
Henderson Mayor, Debra March stated “The widespread use of opioids has led to a significant rise in addiction and related death rates and we cannot allow this proliferation of opioid use to continue impacting our community. By pursuing legal remedies, the City of Henderson is proactively taking steps toward holding drug manufacturers and distributors accountable for contributing to the opioid crisis we are experiencing, to not only save lives but ultimately prevent someone from going down the path of addiction altogether.”

We plan to force these companies to pay for the damage they have done.
