SPIRIT OF SERVICE:

DANIEL RODIMER, THE POWER OF SHARING A SMILE

Daniel Rodimer appeared recently on the political scene in Nevada running for State Senate District 8 with a smile as big as his 6′ 7″  frame could produce. Rodimer, was a World Wrestling Star better known by the ring name Dan Rodman. Before Wrestling, Rodimer played semi-pro football for the Tampa Bay Barracudas, an Arena Football League.

But Rodimer is no dumb jock. He graduated from Ave Maria School of Law in 2013. So its no surprise that Rodimer, who’s kids are in school here in Las Vegas, is leading the charge to improve education in Nevada as his top priority.

Rodimer is father of five children and a solid family guy by all accountants. So one would think he’s had his fill of kids? Wrong. Dan started a program providing Christmas to children in protective custody at Child Haven. This was a successful charity event he originally founded in Naples, Florida while attending law school.

Rodimer’s infectious smile and positive energy lights up every room he walks into and has made him an instant political star on the campaign trail. But his service to the community is an example to us all. Rodimer leads by example and that’s why we honor him this week in our community Spirit of Service section.
