As of Oct 15, 2020, playgrounds are open again but with the insane requirements Gov. Sisolak requiring kids playing outside on swings and jungle gyms to wear masks.

The problem with that is, the CDC has said the risk of catching CV19 outdoors is next to nothing. CV19 can only survive on surfaces outdoors for up to a minute and a half, according to Bill Bryan, chief of the science and technology directorate at the US Department of Homeland Security, said.

“We’ve identified that sunlight, solar light, UV rays is a weakness in the chain,” he said.

So the science is clear, masks are not necessary outdoors. So why is Sisolak requiring toddlers to wear masks outside? His arbitrary rules continue to perplex Nevadans.
