SISOLAK REFUSING TO DISCLOSE WHEREABOUTS & MEDS PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT

Nov. 7, 2021

After 360 News Las Vegas successfully obtained Police Body Camera footage of Gov Sisolak’s car accident scene last week, folks had questions about his sobriety and his protective detail removing “stuff” from his car. So, 360 News Las Vegas served Governor Sisolak with an open records request regarding his car accident and his whereabouts prior. Today his office responded, sort of.

We asked for the following:

1. A copy of Gov. Steve Sisolak’s entire day’s schedule for Oct.17, 2021 during and after his
car accident.
2. His toxicology report from his stay in the hospital for his car accident on Oct. 17, 2021.
3. Names of his protective detail on duty Oct. 17, 2021.
4. Names of NV Highway patrol who were at the scene of his accident on Oct. 17, 2021

The Governor’s response:

Regarding request #1, please find attached the Governor’s schedule for October 17, 2021 in fulfillment of this request.

Regarding request #2, this office does not have any such records.

Regarding request #3, this office does not have any records listing these names. It is possible that the Department of Public Safety may have responsive records.

Regarding request #4, this office does not have any records listing these names. It is possible that the Department of Public Safety may have responsive records.

Here is the screen shot of the calendar he provided:

Governor Sisolak claims he doesn’t know the names of his protective detail, nor the NHP officers assigned to serve him. His office refused to provide his toxicology report even though he was sent to the hospital following the accident. We are on month 19 of Sisolak’s endless emergency powers, so if Sisolak is taking meds that cause car accidents then the public has a right to know about his medical fitness. Governor Sisolak banned Nevadans from obtaining certain meds to treat CV19.
