POLICY: METRO POLICE REF– USE TO DISCLOSE IMMIGRATION STATUS OF SUSPECT?

March 27, 2017

This weekend Rolando Bueno Cardenas shot up an RTC bus on Las Vegas Blvd killing one passenger, 57-year-old Gary Breitling of Sidney, Montana.

Rolando Bueno Cardenas of Las Vegas faces charges of open murder, use of a firearm, attempted murder with use of a firearm, burglary while in possession of a firearm, and discharging a gun within a vehicle.

When 360Daily.net called to inquire more information about the suspect and requested his immigration/citizenship status, Las Vegas Metro Police refused to provide any answers. The informaiton officer said “We are not ICE. Call ICE. We don’t provide that information to the public.”

The issue of sanctuary cities and immigration are a hot topic in the news both locally and nationally and the public wants informaiton regarding the high crime rate in Clark County. But Metro is now refusing to provide that informaiton to the public as “Official policy”. And the rest of the local liberal media has no interest it seems in reporting immigration status of criminals.

New Report From Saturday

In less than 12 hours there were two violent crimes on the Las Vegas strip today. First, this morning at 2:00 am three well dressed men wearing masks robbed and shot up a Rolex store in the Bellagio. Then later today a man shot up a bus in front of the Cosmopolitan Hotel killing one person, shutting down the strip for hours on a beautiful spring summer day with 300,000 tourists in town for the weekend. Ever since Sheriff Lombardo was elected in 2014, crime in Clark County has spiked.

SHERIFF LOMBARDO CLAIMS TO HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT & NOW AGREES TO WORK WITH TRUMP BY DEPORTING CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS

Following the election of President Trump and intense public pressure, Sheriff Lombardo has reversed several policies, including reconstituting the central gang task force and now deporting criminal illegal aliens with ICE detainer holds. Crime statistics are still moving in the wrong direction with over 39 homicides this year already. 2016 saw the highest number of homicides, 168, in the past 30 plus years. Lombardo says with his ambitious plan to graduate a record number of new police recruits, more cops on the streets will bring down the crime rate soon.

But with President Trump ordering a weekly shaming list to be published consisting of counties throughout the country that fail to turn over criminal illegal aliens to ICE, Clark County was number 1 on the walk of shame list this week. With the threat of losing federal funding if Metro doesn’t clean up its act, Sheriff Lombardo publically defended his department’s actions this week claiming he is now working with ICE and admitted the policies of the past were a mistake that they have learned from.
