Democrats are freaking out today because Nye County is doing both hand counting ballots and running them through Dominion machines. Sixty volunteers in a Nye County government building are busy hand counting every ballot in this election, including early voting which is taking place right now. Republican Secretary of State candidate Jim Marchant lobbied the Nye County Commission earlier this year to hand count ballots to double-check the accuracy of the controversial Dominion voting machines. Today, Jim Marchant declared victory in his battle for election transparency.

The Nevada ACLU failed in their lawsuit to stop the hand counting of ballots in Nye County. The leftist group issued a breathless and frantic statement. ACLU Nevada Athar Haseebullah said

“It’s an embarrassing day for our democracy. A historic disaster is brewing in Nye County,”

The ACLU claimed an armed volunteer (practically everyone in Nye County carries) removed their observer from one room and attempted to take her notes.

With control of the U.S. Senate and the governor’s race at stake in the tightest race in the country, Nye County’s 33,000 registered voters could play a big role in the election outcome. The hand count has created enormous confidence and may drive turn out to an all-time record in Nye. And this election is all about which party can turn out their folks.

But Jim Marchant, who is the Republican nominee for Nevada Secretary of State, told 360 News

“Nye County Commissioners showed great courage and today the results are clear. More people in Nye County are voting than ever before because they have confidence that their vote will be counted and their voice will be heard. “

Assemblyman Gregory T. Hafen told 360 News

“I have full faith that the folks in the Nye County Clerk’s office will do a good job.”
