LIBERALS CLAIM THE NEW GHOST GLOCK CREATES BACKGROUND CHECK LOOPHOLE, 2ND AMENDMENT FOLKS CLAIM GHOST GLOCKS PROTECT PRIVACY RIGHTS

This month a new product came to market called the Ghost Glock. When finished, the Ghost Glock is a custom Glock 17 -9mm handgun. But because the Ghost Glock lower is only 80% completed, legally its not a firearm. It’s just a piece of plastics. Under AFT rules, the buyer can purchase the Ghost Glock without a background check and complete the last 20% on their own.

Liberal gun grabbers call Ghost Glock type products a dangerous loophole and a threat to the background check system they created. But recently, the GAO issued a report claiming the ATF violated the Brady Bill Background check law by storing records of retail gun buyers for years, creating a de facto illegal gun registry. Products like the Ghost Glock keep buyers names off government watch lists because no background check is required.

A Spokesperson for Ghost Glocks responded to the controversy by saying “Ghost Glocks protect the privacy of law abiding gun owners who are deeply concerned by public officials who deny the 2nd amendment protects an individual’s right to own a firearm.”

California just last month tried to outlaw so called 80% percenters. The bill was defeated but backers in California and in Congress are planning to reintroduce the bill. And the Obama Administration has been looking at outlawing Ghost Glock type products through an executive order.

So 2nd Amendment folks are saying, get your Ghost Glocks now before they are outlawed by liberal gun grabbers.
