Yesterday, “the Attorney General’s office looked into the evidence regarding the allegations against my husband launched at him on Thanksgiving day, he found NO CHARGES WERE WARRANTED. In fact, his case was pulled off calendar and his bail was exonerated. TODAY, TRUTH AND JUSTICE PREVAILED” according to Leo Blundo’s wife’s Melissa FB post.

The Blundo’s are now consulting with lawyers about suing certain parties involved in the false arrest.

On November 27, 2020 Nye County Commissioner, Leo Bundo, was arrested by the Nye County Sheriff’s office on questionable charges of public corruption. Questionable because Blundo is charged with voting as a County Commissioner for the CARES Act funding while accepting Cares Act money for his business which Leo fully disclosed at the Nye County hearing prior to his vote.

There never was a warrant issued by a judge nor were any such charges issued by the DA to direct the Sheriff’s office to arrest the County Commissioner.

Commissioner Blundo has scheduled a press conference this Thursday to discuss his next move.
