KATHY (THE VIG) SISOLAK, STEVE SISOLAK’S BAGMAN?

Gov. Sisolak fired back at Nye County Commissioner Donna Cox over her allegations that Kathy Sisolak is somehow benefiting from Sisolak’s CV19 polices through her Chinese investments. Gov. Sisolak called Donna Cox comments racist but he never denied that Kathy Sisolak actually has Chinese investments or benefits from Gov. Sisolak’s polices. So 360 News decided to investigate. And what we found in the open was a shocking level of self-dealing and conflicts of interest and downright corruption.

Gov. Sisolak only married Kathy after he won the Governor’s race. Now the spousal privilege attaches.

According to Gov. Sisolak’s 2021 financial Disclosure form the attached list of companies his wife Kathy Ong Sisolak owns or has significant financial interests in. What the disclosure form does not disclose is the amount of cash paid to Kathy Sisolak by clients of those businesses. 360 News Las Vegas served Gov. Sisolak with a Public Records request asking for a list his wife Kathy’s foreign investments.

We did a simple Google search of Ong Partners and found their website. Kathy Sisolak and a man named Guy S. Hobbs own and manage called Hobbs, Ong & Associates, Inc. the website describes it as “Nevada’s Premier Financial Consulting Firm”. Just the two of them. But their client list is a who’s who of private and government agencies throughout Nevada, most of whom are also Sisolak campaigns donors.  https://hobbsong.com/the-team 

“ About Them webpage” describes the firm as “The founders of Hobbs Ong & Associates, Inc., Guy S. Hobbs and Katherine Ong Sisolak, are the preeminent experts on Nevada’s governmental tax structure and local government financial environment” “This experience includes the financial management of Clark County, one of the most complex urban county governments in the country“.

Mrs. Sisolak’s consulting firm also represented Resorts World and The Raider’s Stadium, both of whom Gov. Sisolak allowed to continue with their construction during the “Pandemic” while most small businesses that were deemed “nonessential” and were shutter by Gov. Sisolak’s EO orders. Again, Kathy Sisolak doesn’t disclose how much money all these public and private companies currently pay Mrs. Sisolak now and paid in the past while her Husband was Chairman of the Clark County Commission and while he sits in the Governor Mansion.

The website for “Katherine Ong Sisolak”, Director states “Mrs. Sisolak has provided oversight on the sale of more than 350 bond transactions totaling $35.4 billion of taxable and tax-exempt debt. The proceeds funded improvements for airports; convention facilities; flood, water and sewer projects; hospitals; special improvement districts; transportation and general government projects.” All this while money went through Steve Sisolak the Chairman of the Clark county Commission.
