ADD NYE COUNTY SHERIFF TO THE GUNGRAB REVOLT

Today, Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly joined a growing number of rural sheriffs in Nevada and across the country who are refusing to enforce SB143, the Gungrab background check law. Sheriff Watts of Eureka was the first law enforcement elected official to openly challenge the Democrat majority Legislature’s gun law SB143.

In a statement issued on Facebook and on the Nye County official website Sheriff Wehrly said:

“As Sheriff of Nye County, I agree with sheriff Watts, i will not participate in the enforcement of this new law and certainly won’t stand silent, while my citizens are turned into criminals due to the unconstitutional actions of misguided politicians who, for the most part, are trying to do the right thing.”
