To be exact, Anheuser-Busch stock fell 5.02%, losing $4.562 billion in market cap, according to Dow Jones Market Data Group. Sales fell 21% following Dylan Mulvaney promoting the beer on Instagram. I haven’t ordered a Bud Lite since and never will again. The Transgender issue could be the Republicans’ abortion issue in 2024, if they have the guts to use it. In 2022, Dems used the abortion issue in literally every race, from county commission to secretary of state. Dems didn’t mention the economy, inflation, or any other issue. They spent every dollar on the abortion issue, and it worked. Republicans looked like a deer in the headlights. And the transgender will help Republicans win every race on the ballot, from school boards to Congress to the state house. Republicans could sweep the political landscape with this issue. Even Dem senior citizen voters think the transgender issue is creepy and scary. Nevada Dems just gave Republicans more ammunition. Just this week, Nevada Dems introduced an amendment to Assembly Bill AB423 fining school boards $5,000 if they dare ban biological boys from girls’ sports, locker rooms, and bathrooms. The Dem amendment to AB423 states: 1. A board of trustees shall not adopt a policy that limits the access of a pupil because of race, religious creed, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, familial status or sex, to school facilities or activities.2. If the Department finds that a board of trustees adopts a policy that violates the provisions of subsection 1, the Department may impose an administrative penalty of not more than $5,000 for each day that the policy is in effect. The Douglas County School Board was set to vote to ban biological boys from girls sports and locker rooms at last week’s board meeting, but decided to kick the can down the road until the next meeting after the ACLU threatened to sue them. Will Republicans have the guts to use this issue? Will they have the discipline to fight through the name-calling and attacks that are certain to come their way as Dems start to panic?
