Sisolak has repeated his call for a state wide ban on so called assault weapons in the next legislature on the campaign trail. Dems across the country continue their war on the 2A even in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling extending individual rights to commonly owned fire arms. The AR15 is one of the most common rifles owned by Americans.  Americans now own an estimated 15 million AR-15s.

But Sisolak and Nevada Dems have pledged to their supporters they will not only ban the sale but the possession of these rifles, but they’re planning a mandatory buy back program to remove the rifles all together from private ownership.

Since taking office. Sisolak and Nevada Dems have banned private gun sales between law abiding friends and family members. Nevada Dems passed a Red Flag law that every sheriff including Lombardo opposed in an open letter to the Governor.

Republican rising star, Assemblyman Greg Hafen, who’s district includes parts of both Nye County and Clark County said he will fight any effort to infringe on the 2a rights of all law abiding citizens in Nevada.
