BREAKING: LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE TO HOLD VAX MANDATE HEARING TODAY

All six Republicans voted together against the six committee Democrats to end the vaccine mandates for both Nevada Public State Employees and for staff and students at State run Colleges and Universities.

Today at 1:30m. A VAX Mandate alert was issued by several Republicans when a Select Interim Committee suddenly announced a hearing to push more vaccine mandates on all “Post secondary Schools” in Nevada, in other words, all Community Colleges and Universities.

Only a handful of Elected State Lawmakers will vote to tighten and expand vaccine mandates for all college staff and students. A list of the committee members is below.

All the Republicans on the 12 member committee, except Assemblywoman Jill Dickman, are either retiring or leavings office next year. But with the number of Republicans and Democrats evenly split, unless Republicans vote with Dems, any such vax mandates should fail to obtain a majority.

The Legislature refused to address any such mandates in the regular sessions earlier this year or in the special session last month. There is no set location for this meeting. The meeting is entirely online. But folks can watch it live online and call in.

Repub Candidate for Governor Joey Gilbert issued the following statement to 360 News:

 “It’s overwhelmingly something that the majority the state is against just poll the teachers look at what’s happening nobody wants this everybody thinks it’s tremendously unfair but once again it’s a dog and pony show where they’ll hear comments and I’ll take information submitted but they’ve already made the decision it’s a predetermined outcome they’re going to push it through like they’ve done everything they don’t care what the public has to say they’re not listening to anybody and it’s unbelievably unfair and cruel to do what they’re doing and it needs to stop and I hope that there’s lawsuits brought and that there’s legal action taken against this unconstitutional jamming of mandates and treatment options down peoples throats.  No one wants this there’s no public health emergency, this is total government overreach and it’s unacceptable.”
