SISOLAK Sept. 5, 2020 DETR is experiencing more turmoil as both the top administrator and deputy administrator walk out. The fourth Acting DETR Director, Elisa Cafferata is now back in charge but this time as a contractor and not an employee. Administrator Kimberly Gaa walked out and has not returned, but is still technically an employee. No word on whether she is still receiving pay. ON Aug 7, Governor Sisiolak tapped former Assemblywoman Barbara Buckley, a Dem hack to lead DETR. But she had no comment on the ongoing mess that continues to plague our state’s 500k unemployed Nevadans who Sisolak’s policies have forced into this position. The agency continues to fight a class action lawsuit brought by thousands who still haven’t received any unemployment money.
