Sisolak was released from a local hospital after a minor car accident. That same day, open records request were served by other news outlets on Las Vegas Metro Police for records and pictures related to the crash. Three days later still no release of information, no documents, pictures or report have been provide. Today, 360 News Las Vegas served LVMPD with an open records request for all police body camera video of Gov. Sisolak’s accident. Under the law they have 5 business in which to produce it. Under the Nevada Open Records Act (NRS.239), revised under SB287 taking effect October 1, 2019, we are requesting the following: A copy of the all body cam footage of Steve Sisolak on Oct.17, 2021 during and after his car accident, at the hospital or any other time and place that day. The unusual delay for a minor car accident is beginning to raise questions about the accident, responsibility and possible drug/alcohol issued. And Sisolak’s office has refused to take any real questions not that the local media would ever ask any.
