The U.S. Supreme Court over ruled a lower Federal trial court that blocked some $2.5 Billion Congress originally appropriated for the Defense Department. The Trump administration lawyers argued the President had the authority to use those DOD funds to secured the country’s borders against the onslaught of illegal aliens flooding the southern border for the last 12 months which clearly created a national security crisis.

But all the liberal judges on the Supreme Court voted against the allowing President Trump to use the DOD funds for the border wall. All 5 of the conservative judges vote with the President.

After Congress refused to provide President Trump’s request for $5.7 Billion for border wall construction funding, Trump tapped $3.6 billion from military construction funds, $2.5 billion in Defense Department money and $600 million from the Treasury Department’s asset forfeiture fund. The case before the Supreme Court only addressed the $2.5 billion in Defense Department funds, which the administration says will be used to construct more than 100 mile.

President Obama said to a Republican after jamming through Obamacare without a single Republican vote in the House, elections have consequences.
