WILL NYE COUNTY WUSS OUT WITH A WEAK CV19 RESOLUTION?

Yesterday the Nye County Commission introduced a resolution criticizing Gov. Sisolak’s Emergency Orders shutting down businesses and other local gatherings. But according to Reno Lawyer Joey Gilbert, who helped draft the Resolutions for White Pine, Elko and Lyon Counties and Eureka County, he called Nye County’s Draft Resolution “All show and no go”.

The Nye County resolution Fails to declare it’s own economic emergency, voiding Sisolak’s authority. Nye fails to reopen businesses and provide a legal frame work and funds to protect them against Sisolak’s fines like the other counties currently do.

The Nye County Commissioners put off any final vote while they “rewrite it”.
