A month and half after Gov. Sisolak forced some 200,000 Nevadans into unemployment lines, Sisolak fired Tiffany Tyler-Garner, the Director of The Nevada Department of Employment Training and Rehabilitation and replaced her with Heather Korbulic. Korbulic was the director of Nevada Health Link.

Gov. Sisolak said in a statement “Korbulic will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in coordinated project management and strategic problem-solving.” And problem solving is exactly what the State needs desperately right now. With thousands of folks still unable to get through to file for unemployment, with rent due in a couple of days, and frustration growing to the breaking point for many folks, Sisolak needs this to work now or this could be the end of his governorship.

But what’s more interesting is that Sisolak fired a black woman and replaced her with a very white blond woman. If a Republican had done this Dems and the race hustlers would have yelled racism from the mountain tops. But not a word in the local Democrat Press. So much for identity politics.
