SISOLAK REFUSES TO LOWER GAS TAXES AS PRICE SPIKES PAST $5 A GALLON

As gas prices spike in Nevada above $5.00 per gallon, drivers are desperate for relief. This month marks two years since Gov. Sisolak declared himself the all powerful ruler of Nevada with never ending emergency powers over every aspect of life. Sisolak shut down churches, businesses and schools. Then he forced everyone to wear masks. Sisolak even banned life saving medicines during CV. But now Sisolak claims he doesn’t have the power to lower your gas taxes.

Nevada has the sixth highest gas tax in the U.S. at 68.88 cents per gallon according to AAA. The truth is Democrats want higher gas taxes to push electric cars and their socialist environmental policies. Democrats in California and Nevada are celebrating higher gas taxes.

Democrats are blaming “the law” for the problem. The law they past that increases gas taxes in Nevada by the same amount the Feds cut theirs. The law is AB 525 from 199 “will increase if the tax collected by the Federal Government pursuant to the provisions of [federal law] or any other tax collected by the Federal Government relating to gasoline is reduced or discontinued in whole or in part.”
