The Laboratory Supervisor who detected that Northshore’s COVID-19 tests missed 96% of positive cases has now suggested that Northshore never even ran the tests. As The Review-Journal reports, “Andrew Gorzalski, molecular supervisor at the Nevada public health lab, said last week he couldn’t say with certainty whether the lab was running the tests incorrectly or simply not running them at all. From a scientific perspective, which explanation would be most likely? ‘Probably that they weren’t running the tests, honestly,’ Gorzalski told the Review-Journal.”

Republican Candidate for Governor, Sheriff Joe Lombardo, scorched Sioslak’s connections to the owners of Northshore today in a press release demanding Sisolak answer the following questions:

  1. Your spokesperson said the state will cooperate with the federal investigation. Will you personally cooperate and waive your attorney client privilege in the interest of public health and transparency.

  2. Why did you say that Nevada ordered Northshore to stop its PCR testing operations, when records show that there were no formal orders to stop Northshore’s PCR testing?

  3. Your statements about the end of Northshore’s testing and beginning of the investigation directly contradict public record. Why is this? Are you intentionally misleading the public about the start of the Northshore investigation?

360 News Las Vegas also wants answers to these questions, so we’ve served the Governor’s office today with an open records request for these documents and information.
