And according to sources, he is preparing to launch a bid for CD4 against first term Congressman Ruben Kihuen. According to sources, Edwards got a cushy job at a local college teaching political science boring students there with his personal political stories, which he will have to give when he run for CD4. According to police reports, if you remember, Chris Edwards was the guy who wore a wire in meetings with his fellow Republican while selling his vote for Assembly Speaker to Governor Sandoval back in 2014. According to several of his fellow Republicans, Edwards was openly selling his vote for Speaker to the highest bidder and then teamed up with police to try and snare his accusers in his scandal. Edwards has the support of the Nevada Never Trumpers from last year. Edward’s voting record has been a disaster for Nevada. Edwards was called out last year for lying to voters when he promised not to vote for tax increases in Nevada. Edwards then supported Gov. Sandoval’s transgender bath policy in our schools and public buildings. And Chris Edwards was the only person in both the Nevada Assembly and the Senate to vote to euthanize cute beagle dogs rather than fund an effort to find them forever homes. Fortunately the bill passed and as a result, all of the dogs were adopted. Senator Mark Manendo, the bill’s sponsor said “We wanted to put forth that bill, making sure that those dogs have an opportunity to live after they’ve sacrificed their bodies for science.” Assembly Bill 261 text: “AN ACT relating to animals; requiring certain research facilities to offer certain dogs and cats to an animal shelter or rescue organization for adoption before euthanizing or destroying such a dog or cat; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.” According to sources close to Edwards, he recently admitted he actually never read the bill before voting no but obviously couldn’t publically say that. Chris Edwards’ vote to kill beagles bored this ad against Edwards in the last election.
