NV DEMS’ CASH BLOWING AWAY REPUB KAMIKAZES

July 22, 2023
On July 15, 2023, campaign fundraising reports came out, and it’s clear the Nevada Dems are in an extremely strong position going into the 2024 elections. Frankly, Republicans are not even in their league. U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen has over $7.5 million in cash on hand. Jim Marchant reported $43,000 in cash on hand, and Stephanie Phillips reported $2,200 in cash on hand. Sam Brown, who raised over $4 million in his primary bid against Adam Laxalt, did not report this quarter.
.
Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District looked just as lopsided. Congresswoman Susie Lee reported $810K cash on hand, while Drew Johnson reported just $114K and $43K on hand.
.
Nevada’s 4th Congressional District is horrific for Republicans. Congressman Horsford reported having $737K in cash on hand, while his Republican challenger, David Flippo, has $88K cash on hand.
.
Republican candidates continue their kamikaze campaigns, flying right into hell and bringing the party and control of Congress with them. These Kamikazes are not crashing into the enemy’s ship; they’re crashing into the Republican ship.
.
I don’t see challengers in the Democrat primaries to Rosen, Horsford, or Lee. They don’t eat on their own, and they work together. Nevada Republicans continue their failed playbook, thinking somehow this time it will be different.
