MIKE PENCE MAKES NEWS IN VEGAS, NOT THE GOOD KIND

This weekend, all the major Republican presidential candidates were in town campaigning at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s (RJC) Annual Leadership Summit Plenary Session on Saturday morning, October 28. The event and group are the offspring of the late billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson.

Adelson gave Trump’s election campaigns $100 million in both 2016 and 2020. Adelson was a huge benefactor of Israel. The GOP presidential candidates spoke, trying to be tough on Iran as the war in the Middle East between Israel and Iranian proxy Hamas rages.

But one candidate stood out and made national news with his speech this weekend. President Trump’s Vice President and now-outspoken critic announced his presidential bid has failed and he is dropping out.

Pence’s unfavorable ratings have been as high as 57% this month. Pence was hovering under 5% in GOP primary national polls with a 3% margin of error. The base never forgave Pence for fully supporting the 2020 election results and turning on Trump.

Trump is the clear favorite to win the GOP nomination now. As the infamous Edwin Edwards, the corrupt, quick-witted former governor of Louisiana, once said:

“The only way he looses is if he gets caught with a live boy or a dead girl.” 

Mike Pence, who looks like a GOP candidate right out of Hollywood casting, told the Las Vegas audience and the world:

“After traveling the nation, its clear to me, its not my time”
