HomePoliticsJILL DOUGLASS MAKES HER CASE FOR CCRP CHAIR Politics JILL DOUGLASS MAKES HER CASE FOR CCRP CHAIR July 17, 2023 We invite all the main candidates to write a 500-word essay about their candidacy for Clark County Chair. The election will be held on July 18th at 5:30 p.m. at the Ahern Hotel. Candidates should email their essay in Word format to our email address. Qualified, trustworthy, and capable leadership is imperative for us to win races in 2024. In unity, we can build a strong, energized, well-funded, and well-managed County Party. There is no other path to victory! I have been a community activist, organizer, and volunteer for Republicans since registering to vote at age 18. Please join the unity movement to bring Republican Integrity back to the party, create vision, grow volunteers, and reinforce Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment.” Working together: We WILL earn donor trust to build financial reserves, implement precinct work, provide voter assistance, and implement ballot harvesting initiatives. WE WILL support candidates to ensure we win a County Commission seat, a state assembly seat, and a state senate seat. WE WILL communicate and be transparent in all we do, including finances. WE WILL improve branding using traditional, social, and digital media. WE WILL prioritize the defeat of ranked choice voting. The most qualified candidate I retired from a successful 30-year career as an Agency Vice President. Developed and successfully executed plans and programs to meet multimillion-dollar budgets in NV, AZ, and CO. Recruited, trained, and developed successful championship teams. Served as President of both the Southern Nevada and Nevada State Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Established a long history of successful fundraising for Chambers of Commerce, military organizations, churches, and schools. I have the time to devote to this position and will not use it for any financial gain. Additionally, I have never had ethics complaints and will not participate in outside activities that cause a conflict of interest or embarrassment to the party. I am the Founding President of Battle Born Republican Women. A member of the National Federation of Republican Women, the Nevada Republican Club, and the American Christian Caucus. Highly active during the past campaign cycle as a donor and volunteer, collaborating with a team that made over21,000 phone calls and logged over 65,000 volunteer hours. During the legislative cycle I collaborated with volunteers to create a training manual for NELIS and was active in giving testimony on many bills. “Working together, focused on our shared values, we can succeed. Let’s MAKE Clark County WIN AGAIN.”
