CAN YOUR EX FORCE YOUR KIDS TO GET CV19 VACCINES IN FAMILY COURT?

If you thought vaccines were controversial on social media try disagreeing with your ex-spouse. This issue is exploding in Las Vegas Family Courts propelled by extreme emotions and deeply held beliefs on both sides. A friend of mine recently contacted me regarding a Court motion filed by her ex-husband trying to compel her to get their young kids a CV vaccine.

Prior to the divorce, the couple was against vaccines, but now, everything has changed. The couple has an August hearing before a family court judge. Nevada law does allow for religious exemptions for vaccines, but what happens when the parents are split on the issue? What if anything should an outside party do? Should a judge have the power to intervene and force a child to get a vaccine against the will of one of the parents?

According to Family Lawyer Amber Robinson, “if parent A does not want their child vaccinated due to personal beliefs and feelings around vaccinations, and parent B does want their child vaccinated due to common medical practices, then the Court will consider whether or not the vaccinations are mandatory. If the school district the child attends mandates that all children be vaccinated in order to go to school, and the only exceptions are factors that do not apply to the child, then the Court will likely side with parent B.”

The other question is whether Family Court can compel kids to get an experimental vaccine. The CV19 vaccines are currently authorized as experimental. And under Federal law folks cannot be compelled to take experimental vaccines. The vaccine makers have zero liability if a child is injured by the CV19 vaccines. Also, children, statistically, have a zero chance of dying from CV19.

With the world’s attention on CV vaccines, we can be sure the Nevada Supreme Court will take up this issue as more businesses, colleges and schools try to mandate the CV19 vaccines.
