Following the Oct 1st, Vegas Mass Shooting, both Assistant Sheriffs, including Tom Roberts were allegedly forced out of Metro. Sources claim SWAT commander Tom Roberts slept through Oct. 1st shooting causing a delay in SWAT’s response time. Now Sheriff Lombardo is endorsing Robert’s opponent for Sheriff, Retired Under Sheriff Kevin McMahill, causing more speculation about Robert’s reason for leaving the department.
