In the race for president in Nevada, 1,483,174 votes were cast. Trump received 750,637 votes compared to Kamala’s 704,111 votes in Nevada. Sam Brown received 676,511 votes, and Jacky Rosen received 700,048 votes. While Jacky Rosen clearly received about the same number of votes as Kamala Harris, Trump received 74,126 more than Brown. I spoke with several poll watchers who told me they saw thousands of folks lined up for blocks who literally voted for Trump and nothing and no one else. Not for the Senate, not for Voter ID, not for Abortion, nothing else. These folks walked in with IVs in their arms, with one leg, blind, 800 years old. The same people who waited in lines for hours to attend Trump rallies were the same folks who would have walked over glass to vote for Trump. And we saw this in the June 2024 primary election. Republican turnout was miserable, barely over 22% of the Republicans who voted for Trump bothered to vote in the primary. Only some 165,350 Republicans voted in the Senate Primary. The same thing happened in 2016. Over 74K Nevada Republicans voted in the caucus, while only 28K voted in the 2012 caucus for Mitt Romney. His supporters are so intense because they feel connected to him. They feel he stands up to a government they see as corrupt that ignores their plight. Dems and most Republicans are too afraid to speak up and stand up for the average American. Too many Republicans were afraid to run against the trans movement. Too many Republicans ran boring, lame campaigns this cycle. Trump’s campaign to end tax on tips was genius because it was a real issue the average American could relate to. They watched Kamala Harris give away billions of our tax dollars to Ukraine with money extorted from bartenders and waitresses who struggled to pay their rent. They got it and they voted. They knew every time they filled up their cars and purchased groceries, things were very wrong, even while the media gas-lit them, saying everything was great. The more the media told folks to hate and fear Trump, the more they wanted to vote for him. The machine tried to assassinate him, not because Trump was a threat to democracy, but because he was and is a threat to the bureaucracy, the real power behind the Democratic party. Trump is determined to be a historic figure who stopped America’s slide into socialism that started 100 years ago with the income tax, Woodrow Wilson, followed by the New Deal and the welfare state. Trump’s recent staffing picks show he learned his lesson. People are policy. Trump picked revolutionaries who want to destroy the corrupt system and rebuild America. The people who were willing to walk over glass to vote for Trump voted to change course and save America for their kids and grand-kids. And Trump is determined to see that to the end.
