HomePoliticsBIDEN OFFICIALLY KILLS WOMEN’S COLLEGE SPORTS Politics BIDEN OFFICIALLY KILLS WOMEN’S COLLEGE SPORTS April 27, 2024 Just like climate change and DEI, the trans ideology is part of the Dem’s war on the truth. If they can destroy the truth, then they can shape the law and our society anyway they want. Unfortunately, most Republicans in Congress and the Senate are worthless losers who refuse to fight these battles. They’re afraid of the blob coming after them online and in the news. In 1972, Title IX was passed by Congress to protect women’s college sports. Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school, public or private, or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government. Over the last 50 years, before the crazy Dem trans ideology was pushed, the law was applied to protect women’s sports by requiring colleges to fund women’s sports equally to the men’s sports. Joe Biden destroyed that historic protection this week. This week, Biden signed an Executive Order applying Title IX to trans athletes who masquerade as men to compete in women’s college sports. Biden’s EO also gives biological men the right to use girls’ locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers. Florida and South Carolina rejected Biden’s authority. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said Thursday his state “will not comply” with recently unveiled changes to Title IX by the Biden administration. “Florida rejects [President Biden’s] attempt to rewrite Title IX,” DeSantis said in a video posted to the social platform X. “We will not comply, and we will fight back.” Nevada Governor Lombardo so far has not weighed in. But there’s a flip side to this. If President Biden can change the rules, then President Trump can also change the rules and ban trans men from women’s sports after the election. Title IX is already being used by the trans community to litigate trans men’s sports bans in other states. The trans LGBTQ argument only centers on the fairness of access for biological men to compete in women’s sports ignoring women’s right all together. . As in most cases, the Supreme Court may end up resolving this issue unless our Republican Congress takes action. I won’t hold my breath on that.
