SAME SEX MARRIAGE IS BACK ON THE BALLOT

Back in 2000, when Dems were against same sex marriage, and against transgender bathrooms and against pedophile  internet content,  Nevadans ratified a state constitutional amendment in 2000 and 2002 that defined marriage as being only between a man and a woman. But in 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court’s decided to overrule the will of the silly, stupid, racist and homophobic American People in Obergefell v. Hodges, legalizing same-sex marriage.

So that leave the unenforceable provision in the Nevada Constitution passed in 2002 still on the books. So the Dems wanting a wedge issue to get their folks out to vote, put Ballot Question 2 on the ballot in their emergency session this summer, which will wipe out the 2002 Same Sex Marriage Constitutional Amendment. But it will require a second run at the ballot next year to pass.

With weddings being a huge industry in Las Vegas, even many Republicans here support same sex marriage. And with some 300K more California Libs here since 2002, Ballot Question 2 expected to pass easily.

Gay marriages even have Elvis available to officiate weddings now on Las Vegas.
