NRA DONATED $0 TO NV REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES IN 2018 ELECTION

According to the Nevada Secretary of State’s official campaign finance website, the National Rifle Association (NRA) donated zero money to Republican Candidates in Nevada, specifically for State Senate, State Assembly, for Governor, Attorney General etc. Nothing.

After Nevada Republicans took a shellacking in 2018 and with gun rights on the top of the agenda, many are asking where was the NRA and their money? With many candidates running in tight races for re-election in the State Senate and Assembly a little extra money could have made a big difference in many races.

Last week the Democrat controlled Legislature passed SB 143, the back ground check law intended to correct the problems in Question 1 passed in 2018 when the NRA was outspent 10 to 1 by Democrats and Michael Bloomberg. According to people we spoke with, the NRA representative wasn’t up in Carson City helping fight SB 143 until the day of the vote.
