MANFREDI FILES SLANDER SUIT AGAINST REPUBLICAN OPPONENT FOUGERE

July 24, 2018
A little more than a month ago, on June 12, 2018, Aaron Manfredi defeated Thomas Fougere by 4 votes to win the Republican primary for Clark County Public Administrator. But after the Clark County Elections Department discovered some 43 voters had double voted, a new re-vote was launched. The new election was exclusively a mail-in ballot election with a deadline of July 17, 2018, at 7 pm.
Thomas Fougere won the public administrator re-vote 61%.42 to 38.58% and for Aaron Manfredi with 78% of percents reporting. Some 26,000 Republicans voted by mail out of some 74,000 ballots that were sent out. After another woman surfaced three weeks ago accusing Manfredi of more sexual misconduct, his support collapsed.
On July 4, 2018, 360 News reported that Aaron Manfredi was suing his opponent Thomas Fougere. Well today the suit was filed in court and Manfredi sent us a press release along with a copy of the complaint.
360 asked Manfredi about others who he claims slandered him during the election, he responded “A lot of people are defaming me out there. This is only, the beginning.”

“This community deserves better. When gossip, rumors and lies become the discussion surrounding the work I do, it directly has an effect on my clients, business associates, my friends and the people of this community that I am an active member of. I will not let someone destroy my good name and the work have done over the past 20 years with lies and attacks on my integrity just for their personal benefit, and this community deserves the truth, especially from anybody even attempting to run for government.” says Aaron Manfredi.
