LOMBARDO WITH HUGE LEAD ABOUT TO SWEEP RE-ELECTION

On the eve of early voting, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo is leading in a recent poll 360 News Las Vegas put in the field this week, with over 64.56% of the vote. Sheriff Lombardo needs 50.1% in the June primary to win outright. It looks like he’s got re-election lock up barring any major news.

The poll included over 656 very high likely voters. Turnout is expected to be very low in the primary this year, especially with the Golden Nights Stanley Cup games running right through early voting.

After a rough 2017 following the Route 91 Oct. 1 Mass shooting, Sheriff Lombardo became a national household name. This month, after the Nevada Supreme Court ordered the full release of videos from the Vegas Mass shooting, Lombardo complied and released tons of videos which may have actually helped his poll numbers.

Although many in the poll thought Lombardo’s transparency had been lacking, the absence of any well organized and well-funded candidate to take him on means he will sail to victory in the June Primary.
