2023 CANDIDATE & ELECTION RUMORS?

If one is serious about running for any major office these days, they must start running now in order to raise the money necessary to be competitive. So several folks are poking their heads out to take the political temperature for a run for office.

The U.S. Senate race is already garnering serious attention from big Nevada names. Sam Brown is expected to run again. And Laxalt is keeping a high profile even after losing to Catherine Cortes Masto by a hair. But according to rumors, former Governor Brian Sandoval is taking a serious look at running. Sandoval was Harry Reid’s favorite Republican. Probably because he passed the largest tax increase in the history of the state and passed drivers’ licenses for illegal aliens back in 2015. KING RINO Sandoval single handedly destroyed the Republican majority in 2015. Former candidate for CD4 Tony Lane is also rumored to be running for the U.S. Senate even though he failed to raise any money for his bid for CD4. And last but not least, a local Vegas real estate broker who looks like an Italian casino mob boss’ wife, Stephanie Phillips, is seriously exploring a run for the U.S. Senate.

One term Clark County School Trustee Katie Williams (lying sack) is considering running for the State Senate. According to folks in the know, Katie may have given Jara more than one kind of raise after promising to get rid of him. She also skipped the vote for the Vax mandate after railing against the JAB on social media. Turns out she was vaccinated, so I’m guessing big pharma will donate to her race. BTW she is facing a planned recall by voters after her vote for Jara’s million-dollar pay raise. Of course Katie denies it officially.

General Rob Novotny, a former commander at Nellis Air Force Base, is considering running for Congress. Retired Brig. Gen. Novotny was a command pilot with more than 2,800 flight hours in 12 different aircraft, primarily in the F-15C/D/E and more than 540 combat hours. Prior to his assignment, he served as the Deputy Director, Plans, Programs, Requirements, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

BTW Nevada is second in the country in the presidential primary system after the legislature moved up our primary date, so expect every presidential candidate to be working Vegas harder than a hooker on Fremont Street.
