HENDERSON CITY COUNCILMAN SAM BATEMAN DOUBLE DIPPING ACCORDING TO NPRI

City Councilman Sam Bateman, who’s also now running for Justice of the Peace in Henderson just one year after being election to the city Council, has been “Double Dipping” according to NPRI’s website www.transparentnevada.com. According to NPRI, Bateman is currently drawing an annual salary and benefits package as a Henderson City Councilman of $80,375,35 and he also works for the Clark County District Attorney’s Office receiving pay there totalling $159,061.78. So for 2015 Mr. Bateman’s total compensation from both government entities totaled over $239,000.

Jeffrey Posin, one of his opponents in the race said “It’s an example of another¬†establishment guy playing the system with numerous conflicts of interests which is part of a pattern of how Mr. Bateman has run his campaign so far to date.”

The average Justice of the Peace in Clark County draws over $200,000 a year including benefits and pay.
