SISOLAK HIT CITY OF LV WITH OSHA CV19 FINES DAY GOODMAN WAS ON CNN

According to a public records request 360 News Las Vegas obtained from SISOLAK’s NV OSHA, they issued 212 CV19 fines during the pandemic, so far.  The OSHSA’s fines ranged from $4,000 up to $13,000. Only three such fines were issued to Casino Hotels. One of the fines appears to have been issued to Virgin Hotel during their construction. Somewhere issued based on Social media posts.

Most of the fines were for construction related business were the workers didn’t wear masks outside. Even in the middle of the summer, in 115 degree weather, OSHA issued fines to construction companies when their folks didn’t wear masks. Mind you, the CDC said, back in May 2020, the risk of catching CV19 outdoors is next to nothing. CV19 can only survive on surfaces outdoors for up to a minute and a half, according to Bill Bryan, chief of the science and technology directorate at the US Department of Homeland Security, said. “We’ve identified that sunlight, solar light, UV rays is a weakness in the chain,” he said.

The City of Las Vegas was also fined $9,446 by OSHA on April 22, 2020. That was the same day Las Vegas Mayor Goodman was on CNN attacking Sisolak’s continued illegal lock downs of businesses. NV OSHA fined the City of L:as Vegas because a couple of employees were outside painting a HUMP in the street and supposedly didn’t social distance or wear masks. According the city, OSHA dropped the fine after they challenged it months later.

Fine statement read:

“The CSHO observed 3 employees of the City of Las Vegas, Traffic and Engineering Section violating the requirement to maintain a minimum of 6 feet of personal separation while performing their job task of painting the “HUMP,” legend on the street. Employees not effectively following the social distancing protocol during the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Initiative were exposed to serious health risks. One of the largest fines issues was to the Trump event at the Ahern Hotel $10,900 for:

“Instance #1: On August 6, 2020 at approximately 5:00 P.M., the Governor’s COVID-19 directive regarding social distancing was not followed at the Evangelicals for Trump event held at the Ahern Hotel. Guests were observed within arm’s reach of other guests who attended the event throughout the first level where employees of the hotel worked. Instance #2: On August 6, 2020 at approximately 5:00 P.M., the Governor’s COVID-19 directive regarding the general public not gathering in groups of more than fifty in an indoor area was not followed at the Evangelicals for Trump event held at the Ahern Hotel. The event had an attendance of approximately 716 guests throughout the first level where employees of the hotel worked. Instance #3: On August 9, 2020 at approximately 4:00 P.M., the Governor’s COVID-19 directive regarding the general public not gathering in groups of more than fifty in an indoor area was not followed at the Miss Nevada pageant event held at the Ahern Hotel. The event had an attendance of approximately 200 guests throughout the first level where employees of the hotel worked. Instance #4: On August 9, 2020 at approximately 4:00 P.M., the Governor’s COVID-19 directive regarding social distancing was not followed at the Miss Nevada Pageant event held at the Ahern Hotel. Guests were observed within arm’s reach of other guests who attended the event throughout the first level where employees of the hotel worked.”
