SHERIFF LOMBARDO TO BE DEPOSED ON CAMERA IN LAWSUIT

SHERIFF LOMBARDO TO BE DEPOSED ON CAMERA IN LAWSUIT

October 15, 2017

This week several lawyers filed personal injury and negligence lawsuits against the MGM, Mandalay Bay’s parent company, on behalf clients injured in the October 1 Vegas shooting.

As in any lawsuit, there will be discovery conducted including depositions. Lawyer Nathan Morris was on 360Daily.net on-demand news TV discussing the lawsuit he filed on behalf of a 21-year-old women who is recovering from gunshot wounds in the Vegas attack.

At issue will be whether the Mandalay Bay provided reasonable security based on industry standards and expectations of the risks that exist in the world today. That will certainly include reviewing the timeline put out by Sheriff Lombardo and MGM CEO Jim Murren. Did Lombardo revise the timeline 3 times to shield his biggest campaign donor, the MGM, from liability? Yesterday lawyers filed a motion to preserve documents and emails related to the Vegas shooting in District Court.

Lawyers have said they expect to depose everyone connected to the Vegas shooting as part of their discovery process including Sherriff Lombardo and MGM CEO Jim Murren.
