REPUBLICANS BANNED FROM VOTING FOR CLARK COUNTY DA?

Early voting started less than a week ago on Saturday, May 26, 2018, and many Republican voters have complained that the Clark County DA’s race was not on their ballot. It turns out an obscure law passed in the 2015 legislative session changed the law limiting voting in non-partisan races where both candidates are from the same political party. Huh?

Exactly. So because Steve Wolfson and Robert Langford are both Registered Democrats, only registered Democrats get to vote for DA. So everyone else including Republicans, independents and IAP’s, Libertarians, etc do not get to vote for Clark County DA.

The change in the law has pushed Steve Wolfson’s campaign to the far left in response to his ACLU liberal opponent Robert Langford who recently in an interview on 360 said he would oppose the death penalty even in cop killing cases and he may have opposed seeking the death penalty for Stephen Paddock of he had lived following the murders of 58 people at the Route 91 Concert.

But as extreme as he may be, Republicans have no voice in this process. Which brings up a major issue, is this lawful and or is it unconstitutional? The election could end up in court being challenged especially if Woflson loses as the more conservative voters could have made the difference in the election.
