ROSEN’S $8.8 MILL EXPOSES REPUB WEAKNESS Nov. 10, 2023 The U.S. Senator from Nevada, Jacky Rosen, just raised $2.7 million in the third quarter of 2023 (a three-month period covering July to September). Rosen’s campaign reports having $8.8 million on hand. If one adds up all the money from all Nevada Republican candidates for all offices in Nevada, it doesn’t come close to Rosen. Sam Brown leads the U.S. Senate Repub primary race with just over $1.1 million. Republicans, including Gov. Lombardo and consultant Ryan Erwin, are trying to build a political machine to compete with the Dems. We desperately need strong leadership in our party. But the fact is, we have two parties within the Nevada Republican Party. We have the pro-Trump folks and everyone else. And Trump has been trying to build his own national political machine. Trump has been highly successful in raising money for his own campaign. In fact, Trump has out-raised Biden, according to the latest numbers. But he has neglected down-stream candidates across the country at this very important juncture. This has left an opening for anti-Trump forces. This battle between the “Conservatives” and the “Establishment” Republicans has been going on since before Ronald Reagan. Until the Republicans work this out, they will always trail Dems.
