NV SEN. CAND. SHARELLE BLASTS SISOLAK’S TRANSGENDER KATALUNA TWEET

Triple Crown winner, Miss North Hollywood, Miss So Cal, Ms. United States of American from California, and now (R) U.S. Senate Candidate for Nevada, Sharelle Mendenhall blasted Gov Sisolak’s Tweet supporting Kataluna Enriquez, a transgender, who won the Miss Nevada and is now at the Miss American pageant.

Mendenhall is also a small business owner of Elite Expo Talent Agency, a model and talent agency for conventions and other events. She describes herself as “a strong Christian, lifelong conservative” and supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Sharelle Mendenhall,

“Women have fought and earned the right to have their own sports and beauty pageants without biological men. The Ms. Nevada Pageant has many rules that have been strictly enforced for decades, including being a natural born woman, age restrictions, never married and never had kids. There are thousands of women who this man stole this spot from. Women who should have had the opportunities and financial benefits that went along with it. 

Instead of changing the rules for everyone, the pageant ignored the rules and made an exception for Kataluna. 

In addition, Women share the same dressing room at the pageants. Perhaps it’s time for a transgender Nevada beauty competition?”

The Pageant website clearly states the Contestant rules:

ALL CONTESTANT’S

• Must not be married, never have been married, and never have had a marriage annulled. Must never have given birth to a child, can not be pregnant or be a parent.

• Must be of good health and moral character.

• Must be a female citizen of the United States
