NV CONGRESSIONAL DEMS GAS LIGHT NEVADANS ON TAX INCREASES

Today I woke up to a FB ad from NV Dem Congresswoman Dina Titus claiming she lowered taxes for Nevadans after she just voted for the Inflation reduction act last week. To say she lied would be an understatement.

This is the Google definition for Gas Lighting someone,

“Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim’s mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition”

If we remember that these are the same people who claim a transgender man is a woman, now claiming we’re not in a recession and a tax increase is really not a tax increase makes perfect sense.

Here are the facts about the Inflation reduction every Nevada Democrat member of Congress just voted for, including, Titus, Susie Lee and Steve Horsford just voted for. BTW the three NV Dems voted 99.9% of the time with Nancy Pelosi.
.

Hit: Voted for a $740 billion radical tax and spending spree that will exacerbate already high inflation and force hard-working Americans to pay even more for everyday goods.

Hit: Voted to stick middle-class American families with $10.6 billion in new taxes.

Hit: Voted to empower 87,000 new IRS agents to target an additional 1.2 million small business owners and middle-class Americans with invasive audits, the majority of which would target Americans earning less than $75,000 per year.

Hit: Voted to hit Main Street businesses with tens of billions of dollars in tax hikes in order to protect tax deductions for millionaires and billionaires.

Hit: Voted to raise Americans’ electricity and gas bills even more by imposing billions of dollars in new taxes and fees on domestic energy.

Hit: Voted to restrict Americans’ access to treatments by imposing socialist price controls that will increase the cost of drugs and curtail research and development of new, life-saving cures.

Hit: Voted to force middle-class Americans to foot the bill for electric vehicles and healthcare subsidies for the elite.

Hit: Voted to increase taxes on the middle-class, breaking Democrats’ promise to shield the average American household from tax hikes.

Hit: Voted for over $400 billion in spending for liberal “green” projects that benefit special interests while sticking the American taxpayer with the bill.

Sam Peters running for congress against Horsford issued the following statement,

“As our congressman, he has failed to balance a budget and now he is supporting yet another spending and tax bill that does nothing that the name of the bill would imply. Here is what the Congressional Budget Office has to say about “The Inflation Reduction Act”:

“According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), a federal agency that provides budget and economic information to Congress, the bill would barely make a dent on inflation in the near term—and could even nudge it upward.”

April Becker slams Susie Lee saying,

(Las Vegas, NV) – Today, Susie Lee voted for the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” and unleashed more spending and 87,000 additional IRS agents on Americans that cannot afford any more of the reckless policies that have caused a 40-year high in inflation.

Analysis shows that middle-class Americans will bear the brunt of the IRS audits resulting from 87,000 new hires.

While Susie Lee continues to carry Joe Biden’s water, voting with the President 100% of the time, April Becker is standing up for middle-class Nevadans. Becker is proposing an update to the Taxpayer Bill of Rights.

Decades ago, when Democrats cared about the American worker, former Nevada Senator Harry Reid championed the Taxpayer Bill of Rights because of the protections it offers taxpayers when dealing with the IRS. In Congress, Becker will propose legislation strengthening those protections now that Susie Lee has put taxpayers at risk.

Becker’s proposal strengthens the Taxpayer Bill of Rights by including protections to ensure that the IRS cannot use the taxpayer’s occupation as part of the Discriminant Function System (DIF) or the Unreported Income DIF. These computer programs are used to determine which individuals will be audited.

“As a former waitress, I know that the IRS targets our hardworking service industry members,” said Becker. “These workers mostly live paycheck to paycheck and have to worry about putting food on the table. They shouldn’t also have to worry about an audit from Susie Lee’s new 87,000 IRS agents. Senator Reid, along with Senator Chuck Grassley, led a bipartisan effort to stand up for taxpayers, something that has been lost on the modern Democrat party.”
