JESSE LAW MAKES HIS CASE FOR CCRP CHAIRMAN

We invite all the main candidates to write a 500-word essay about their candidacy for Clark County Chair. The election will be held on July 18th at 5:30 p.m. at the Ahern Hotel. Candidates should email their essay in Word format to our email address.

Dear Fellow Members,

I believe the Clark County Republican Party is on the verge of something HUGE. Our members, our neighbors, and our community are looking to us to unite and fight the socialist woke agenda, and if there is one thing I am certain of, it’s that our members have the passion and dedication necessary to achieve great Conservative victories.

I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with each of you to fight the socialist woke! That is the part of this job that I absolutely love, and that is why I am asking you to join President Donald J. Trump and Governor Joe Lombardo in supporting me for re-election as Chairman.

Our party has not seen such divisiveness to injure the organization since it was soundly defeated two years ago. Remember what the establishment RINOs tried to do to keep all of us, the grassroots and MAGA Republicans, out, even at the cost of destroying our organization? Together, we had to struggle and labor to rebuild our decimated party—and we did! But like clockwork, just before a new party election, that contentious and divisive spirit has returned.

Please understand that those who recruited my opponent are the Never-Trump faction, using this as their latest win-at-all-costs, consequences-be-damned ploy to overtake the grassroots and Pro-Trump factions. These Never-Trumper elitists are using the Democrat playbook of deceit, divisiveness, and slander in order to manipulate you into defeating the MAGA leadership. President Trump and Governor Lombardo have put their trust in me to lead an American-First movement! By contrast with the way they have conducted themselves and harmed our membership, my opponents have proven themselves unworthy of anyone’s trust.

True Trump supporters trust his judgment, so why is my opponent opposing Trump’s endorsement of me? Because those at the top of her organization DO NOT SUPPORT TRUMP and never have, and they are using our members as pawns. Ask yourselves, if my opponent really was a Trump supporter, would she go against him and slander his endorsed choice in leadership? When endorsements were announced, my opponent slammed President Trump and Governor Lombardo for endorsing me, accusing both of them of “shady backroom” deals without ANY proof. Is this the kind of leadership you want to lead, strengthen, and unify our party?

I cannot sit idly by and watch as our members turn on each other over innuendo, false accusations, and slander, so I am speaking up! WE ARE ONE PARTY. WE ONLY HAVE EACH OTHER. We need to move forward AS ONE as we go into 2024 in order to defeat the real enemy: The Globalist/Socialist Uniparty! We will need to forgive and reconcile with one another to heal the divides caused by this election for party leadership, as it has poisoned our unity and progress. You have my full commitment to take the lead in that endeavor.

How do I know what it means to be a Trump supporter? I was fortunate to serve on his 2016 campaign, in his Presidential Transition Team, as the highest ranking official and White House Liaison at my agency in his administration, and was in charge of Election Day Operations and Election Integrity for the state of Nevada for his 2020 re-election campaign. Like our NVGOP Chairman and many of you, I have been with him since his announcement in June of 2015.

Does this mean we are pre-selecting Donald Trump as our Candidate? Quite simply, no, because as MAGA Republicans, we welcome ALL voices who seek to win the GOP Presidential primary. MAGA Republicans are inclusive and welcome the best ideas and voices necessary to beat the socialist, woke Democrats. In fact, the offices of the Clark County Republican Party are hosting presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy on July 22! What has motivated me every day since my first day as Chairman is to beat Democrats at the ballot box. People get involved in the CCRP for many reasons. I still believe that beating Democrats and all they stand for is the best reason to be involved. That’s why I have always viewed petty jealousies and fighting between Republicans as a complete distraction from the purpose of defeating the Democrats bad guys. These meaningless back-and-forths serve no purpose in our mission to get Republicans elected and are beneath us. Truly, our differences are irrelevant to a successful 2024 election. What binds us all to this important effort is our love for our country and community.

The path to victory starts at the top. That’s why the role of Chairman is a heavy lift when done properly. It takes experience, a culture of winning, and the ability to work with dedicated volunteers and professionals to work better, faster, and smarter than Democrats. That’s what I have strived to do in the past, and with your help, that’s what I will continue to do in the future. I have witnessed your passion and dedication firsthand, and that is why together we will be the greatest conservative grassroots force to hit Clark County in decades.

Again, I gratefully accept the endorsements that I have received from both President Donald J. Trump and Governor Joe Lombardo and am humbled by their trust in me. But more importantly, it is YOUR trust and support that means the most to me. We have already put in many long hours over the last few months to develop the tools and the plans for conservative Republicans to be successful in 2024, and you are an essential element in our efforts to win!
