IT’S OFFICIAL: LAKE MEAD BLVD TO BE RENAMED BARACK OBAMA BLVD

Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom made it official in a Face Book post announcing that Lake Mead Blvd, from North Las Vegas to Summerlin, will be renamed Barack Obama Blvd. In 2017, then State Senator Segerblom pushed to Rename McCarran Airport after Harry Reid. That effort failed. But as a newly elected Clark County Commissioner he is pushing to change Lake Mead Blvd where it crossed Martin Luther King Blvd. after the 44th president.

Los Angeles also renamed a blvd after Barack Obama last year.
