BIDEN WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN COVERING UP BENGHAZI FAILURE

September 11th also marks the anniversary of the disastrous attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. On Sept. 11, 2012, Islamic militants attack the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, killing Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and Sean Smith, an officer for the Foreign Service. Stationed less than one mile away are members of the Annex Security Team, former spec ops, assigned to protect operatives and diplomats in the city. As the assault raged on, the six men engage the combatants in a fierce firefight to save the lives of the remaining Americans. After several desperate calls for help to the US State Department, help never came.

Serious questions have remained unanswered ever since. Where was Obama during the firefight, asleep? And now voters want to know, where was Joe Biden? As the leading candidate for President and Obama’s former Vice President, his leadership and decision making temperament are in serious question.

Congress opened an investigation into the disastrous outcome in Benghazi and according to Congressional sources, Biden was instrumental in covering up his administration’s failures with his former colleges in the Senate. Biden was a loyal soldier for Obama and Hillary and now he is being rewarded as he runs for President.

Mr. Biden said at the time of the consulate attacks in Benghazi, “We weren’t told they wanted more security. We did not know they wanted more security there.”

Biden went out and lied to the public as soon as the attacks happened as reported in the New York Times article dated Oct 12, 2012, “As Glenn Kessler noted in his fact-checking column for The Washington Post, Mr. Biden’s assertion “was contradicted by State Department officials just this week, in testimony before a congressional panel and in unclassified cables released by a congressional committee.” Eric Nordstrom, the former regional security officer for Libya, testified that he asked for 12 security agents and that “all of us at post were in sync that we wanted these resources.””

No one was ever held accountable in the Obama Administration nor in the State Department. Biden never got to the bottom the security failure, instead he covered it up. Biden’s blood stained hands are welcomed to the Post Obama Democrat Party as he rides high in the poles, but will the American people forgive him at the poles?

On January 15, 2014, the Senate, controlled by Harry Reid, issued a report eventually in which the majority of the committee offered the following conclusions:

• The attacks were preventable.
• There were no protests in the area prior to the attack.
• Although the attack did not arise from prior protests, it “did not require significant amounts of preplanning”.
• Terrorists who participated in the attacks included members of al-Qa’ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb, Ansar al-Sharia, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, and the Mohammad Jamal Network.
• The CIA talking points were flawed but still “painted a mostly accurate picture of the IC’s analysis of the Benghazi attacks at that time, in an unclassified form and without compromising the nascent [FBI] investigation of the attacks”.
• In general, the majority concluded “that the interagency coordination process on the talking points followed normal, but rushed coordination procedures and that there were no efforts by the White House or any other Executive Branch entities to ‘cover-up’ facts or make alterations for political purposes”.^[
