AS OF TODAY GOV. SANDOVAL IS NO LONGER OFFICIALLY GOVERNOR OF NEVADA

Today Lt. Gov. Hutchinson is officially the Govenor of Nevada. Gov. Sandoval fled the country with his supporters in the middle of the night flying off to a secret location on a tropical island in the south Pacific.

Actually, under the Nevada Constitution, while the Govenor is out of the state traveling, the Lt. Govenor takes over all the responsibilities and authorities. Gov. Sandoval is off on a 2 week junket to Australia, the perfect summer get away from the Africa like heat of Nevada.

Australia is Nevada’s 10th largest trading partner, with $149 million in imports and exports last year. My question is, if we already do so much business with Australia why not go to countries who we don’t do much business with?? Maybe because they don’t have really nice beaches with beautiful women.

Gov. Sandoval’s 30 friends and supporters tagging along include the president of the University of Nevada, Reno, the president of the Nevada Mining Association, and representatives from the Southern Nevada Water Authority and Cirque du Soleil.

No official records have been released yet regarding who’s paying for the trip for all his guests and his buddies or if they are bringing along the Governor’s motorcade and snipers with them to Australia.
