On July 31, 2008 then candidate for Nye County Commissioner, Alan Bigelow was booked on three counts of sexual assault. Alan admitted to 360 News that he indeed had sex with Susan XXX but it was consensual. Alan is currently running for Las Vegas City Council. At the time Alan was a fire fighter in Nye County and a political activist and host on a local TV show.

According to Susan’s official police report;

Alan and Susan ran into each other at Wufy’s while having dinner. Susan said she knew Alan gave massages and asked Alan for a massage. Alan offered to give her a massage for $40. So Susan went back to Alan’s home where Alan gave her a massage. Then as he finished the massage he made a sexual advance. Susan claims she said no. Alan admitted to me that he had sex with Susan that night. Susan goes on to tell the police that she went to her family doctor who examined her but did not take any evidence or photos.

The police executed a search warrant of Alan’s home where they say they found “evidence”, see attached docs.

Alan Bigelow was arrested and booked on three counts of sexual assault by the Nye County Sheriff’s office. Alan was held on $150K bail. Some three years later, the charges were dropped.

Alan Bigelow issued the following statement to 360 News:

“My opponent recently notified many people that I had been arrested for rape. In order to maintain my standard of transparency I had disclosed this early in my campaign, however after a final review by the Nye County District Attorney’s Office It was found that there was no evidence of a crime and they filed a motion for dismissal of all charges which was granted. What my opponent has not told you, is that my accuser worked for one of her biggest supporters and that My accuser was arrested for three felony drug charges and was convicted shortly after the dismissal of all charges against me. I will never know the motivation of my accuser. However it did occur shortly after I had declared my intent to run for the Nye county commission in 2008. I have never hidden any of this and never will should someone wish to discuss this. I am and always will be accountable to everyone around me.”
